Kollektiva is part of an effort to build a Competence Center for Social Innovation in Greece.
Each member-state of the European Union was invited to set up one, supported both financially and methodologically by the European Social Fund (ESF). At the head of the Greek network is the Ministry of Labor, supported by 3 partners, the Development Agency of Karditsa, SciFy NGO and Kollektiva. Greece is part of the SEED Consortium with Italy, Romania and Slovenia.
SEED is one of the six projects supported by the European Commission in order to establish national competence centres for social innovation across the EU. During two years (May 2021-May 2023) social innovation organisations, research centers, ESF managing authorities and other partners design and develop competence centers, which can help their countries to promote social innovation, including with funding from ESF+ and other EU programs.
